Jiffy Reach+ goes on sale only after its cloud service and payments are set up and tested end to end. No public release date is announced. Keep your established accessibility tools available during the beta, and use test logins rather than real ones in the vault.
Reads focus as you move with the keyboard, in Windows and in programs. Reads whole pages and documents, uses OCR for text that is only an image, and tells you what changed on the screen. Works alongside NVDA, JAWS and Narrator.
No braille display support yet. Keep your existing screen reader available during the beta.
Two speech engines (Windows SAPI and OneCore) with verbosity levels. Voice commands, push-to-talk or a keyboard command palette. Dictation into any program with Whisper on your PC — nothing you say is uploaded. Choice of microphone.
The “Hey AJ” wake word misses fast or casual speech; use Ctrl+Shift+L or push-to-talk. Windows’ own dictation engine is not used.
Runs on your PC with Ollama — free, private, and allowed in Private Mode. Describes the screen, answers questions, and suggests a model size that suits your computer.
AJ on your PC is slower than a cloud service, and smaller models are less reliable at long tasks. Advanced option: your own Anthropic API key, paid to Anthropic directly, with a monthly spending limit; off by default.
Carries out multi-step tasks one step at a time, saying each step before doing it, with confirmation before anything risky and an emergency stop (Ctrl+Alt+Escape).
Model accuracy varies. Review each step; keep another way to control your computer.
An encrypted vault on your PC for logins, personal details and notes (AES-256-GCM, Argon2id, tied to your Windows account, with a recovery code). Fills a saved login into the exact website it belongs to and never submits the form; refuses look-alike addresses. Fills name, email, phone and address into web forms, and logs into desktop programs. Password generator, weekly encrypted backups, and sync between PCs through a folder you choose. AJ never sees a password, a user name, or which login was used.
Windows Hello unlock and locking on Windows lock or sleep are not yet tested by a person. Use test logins during the beta.
Built-in magnifier alongside speech and reading settings.
Website display preferences on this site are separate from the application’s settings.
Click, right-click, scroll and activate controls by name. Ready-made profiles for common programs, and learning new programs.
Profiles help with supported tasks; not every program or workflow is covered.
By default nothing leaves your PC. Private Mode blocks cloud AI entirely while everything local keeps working.
Cloud AI is used only with your own key and “Allow cloud AI” turned on. Passwords and other secrets are removed from text first, and the vault is never sent.
For Chrome, Edge and Brave: reads pages by heading, link and form field, and never reads out passwords, one-time codes or card numbers.
Free in the Chrome Web Store. In Edge, allow extensions from other stores when it asks.
Upgrades keep your vault, settings, profiles and tasks. Updates cannot downgrade and are never installed without asking.
The installer and the app are code-signed. As a new publisher, Windows SmartScreen may still warn at first. Automatic updates are not active in this release.
